How did you mount the camera on the dashboard? Was the anti-shake was switched on? The anti-shake appears to have smooth out Zollo's driving, or does he now have sideways phobia after the Pug 306 :)

The camera was mounted directly under the rear view mirror on a suction mount. I couldnt get it any tighter so it does wobble around a bit.

TBH the camera is playing up - seams to be getting interferance when the car is at the top end of the rev range. But still not bad from a MMC camera to get the idea....

If it's similar to the lightweight CMOS digicam that I have (Digilife DDV-M1), I fabricated a cardboard holder/stand for it and masking taped the stand onto the dashboard. You should try that, perfectly stable and quite easy to get the position correct before taping it down.

1.51 - not bad considering the amount of missed apexes.

Cheers for letting me have a go mate. Wicked car.

Yeah, I was most surprised watching that back! It's cos the Cup cars are a lot easy to drive smoothly than a standard car. Not only are the slicks a lot grippier but the rock 'ard suspension means the weight doesn't transfer and unload the rear nearly as much. Plus it's not mine, obvously! :P

Plus it's not my car! :P

U know the rules, bend it u pay it lol.

Here's my very high tech digicam stand. Masking tape it down on the dashbaord and it stays put. The black laminate is to cut down the glare from the sun reflecting off the white surface.

As posted earlier northy, I think you activated the anti-shake which lowered the resolution a bit and smooths out the action too much. Best to mount the camera on a stable mount and disable the anti-shake.
