HELP please

I dont really know much about cars so please help me out guys.

The latch on my passenger car door has shut too (i was messing), with the door open so the door wont shut! :oops: How do i get it moving again?

I hope explained myself good enough, lol.

Sounds like the small bar mechanism has come off inside the door,youll have to remove the door card to check it,when you turn the key or your central locking the motor pushes it up and down and then flicks the latch open and shut,if it comes out of the plastic housing inside it wont do this ,mine went a while back and this solved it,its a bit fiddly aswell :(

Easy. No tools required. The latch assumes that you will be pulling on the door when you open it, so all you need to do is pull on one of the door handles and then whilst you are holding the handle in the open position, inside the latch itself you will see a piece of metal that has moved up to close the latch. Just press this towards the outside of the door with your finger and it should just flip out of the way and you will then be able to use the door again as normal.
