oil

got in my car today and went down town. as i was going down town i looked at my oil pressure and it was at three bar but when i acclerated it kept going up to the top around 5 or six. pulled over and it seems to be every time i give the car some revs!! has recently been for a service new oil n ht leads etc. what is my problem.?

Nothing to worry about mate....it's because the oil is still fairly cold that the pressure will go up every time you put ur foot down. Once the oil is hot and up to temperature, it should stay around the same kind of pressure...e.g 3 Bar.
