Was in the process of changing my pads on the rear, and couldnt get the piston in far enough, it seemed to have no movement in it, yet when you put the handbrake on it pushes out as it should, it just doesnt withdraw like it should. Smacking it with a hammer wont even more it.

Its now out to the point where you cant even get one pad in.

What do i need to do???

rear pistons have to be screwed in not just pushed in like the fronts mate.

There are 4 grooves in the piston that you use to wind it back in mate

thanks for the replies guys, figured this out earlier on purely by mistake. Doing the other side tommorrow - hopefully that will be a damn sight easier!
