I was wondering if there is anything you can coat the arches to prevent or slow down any possible rust.

The arches on my Williams have recently been done but i just wanted to slow it down from appearing again.

Is there any tips or advice that can keep it to a minimum?

Thanks everyone.

I've just had mine waxoiled all underneath at my mates garage, it's just a protective coating. Stops the rot aswell as the rust!

Make sure you give it a liberal coating inside the rear door card cavitys, they can rot something chronic in there.

Just a bit of advice, from my experience of Waxoyl and all the other rust inhibitors   IF the rust is already there, then these treatments just seal it in :( :(
Preparation is the key,ie remove as much of the road grime/rust etc etc and give it plenty  with an anti ~ rust treatment, then use the "Waxoyl".

I think I better get some of this stuff then. As I've taken my rear door cars off and stripped the reat of the interior for my re-spray, would it be best to spray the inside of the arches with this dinitrol stuff?

^^^ Aye....

Was there any rust on the inside of yours when you ripped it all to bits?

Never looked at mine yet - I'd be very suprised if there was to be honest

Was speaking to a mate at work today who restores classic cars etc....he suggested using something called "Duck Oil" before using a wax because it has water displacing additives rather than just a wax as water would just sit on top of the wax. The duck oil will drive the water out of the drainage holes in your tailgate for example. Just though I'd let anyone know who maybe interested. Couple of links...
