hi,could someone tell me the gap between the wheel arch and the centre of the wheel on a valver as i've changed to coilovers and the original suspension is already off

Have you just lowered it off the jack or have you driven it yet?
If you haven't driven it and given the suspension time to settle then do that - should settle a bit lower than when you've just taken it off the jack! :)
no the car is in the air with no suspension on at the minute i've changed it to widetrack and i'm fitting avo's to it but i just wondered what the gap is standard to give me an idea how much to drop the coilovers

Well, it's probably no help at all, but standard willy shocks with Cup springs looks like this:

I would measure it but it's up on axle stands at the minute lol
