Hi chaps,

I have bought new dampers from Renault and the top mount kits. I have found a guide to dismantle and re assemble them.

Now my question is do I need to order 2 x circlips and 2 x metal spacers additionally? Is there anything else I need which Renault don't include in the top mount kit?

I have ordered new shock absorber nuts and bolts.

I have read previous posts and there is some confusion to what is required?

I don't want to take everything apart and find something is missing you see.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks Rich

This pic shows it quite well:

You can see how it goes 2gether on the right side of the pic. However where you see the circlip (4th object down) newer shocks will come with a nut instead, as the circlip was/is a pain in the ass to work with.

If you've already order the nut I don't think there is anything else you need, though im not sure what's included in the top mount kit afaik its everything (should hope for tht price). Im sure someone else can confirm.
