Removing Phase2 Airbag Steering wheel. how do i do this, dont want to set the damn thing off!

they dont go off very easy. but you could disconnect the battery but not really necessary. undo the screws unplug remove.

so the center pops off as normal, and if i want it back i dont have to pay for it to be re armed.

think theres two screws in the back of the centre section. don,t think it will need rearming but you might have to remove the airbag light for the mot.

no resistor to fix the light?

maybe mate never had to do one as mines to early for airbags. but there might be

Or take the bulb out for the light?

I took my airbag steering wheel off and the light never came on! Perhaps the bulb is gone or it may not be advanced enough to have fault memories for the airbag. Just make sure your body is properly earthed and your not a static filled person and you wont have to take the battery off, or just take it off to be sure anyway :lol: The wierdest thing will be why the damn LED on the back of the airbag flashes continuously (mines still doing it in my wardrobe- 3 months on!)
