me and a friend converted his 1.4 rt to a 16v the engine came out of a phs2 car. but is now nakered. so we got another engine out of a phs1 but 1 of them has an oil cooler.

how do we go around this? and how does the oil cooler work? i assume that its just plumbed in to the coolant system? if so can we just block of the two holes on the cooler or do we need new pipes to add this to this coolant system.

is there any other differnces in which we might come across?

cheers guys and girls

If you don't want the oil cooler just take the sandwich plate off the block and use a normal filter on it.

Only other changes really are one of the oil sensors, maybe a coolant temp sensor and some of the wiring.
