Fuel pump

Hey guys and gals. :wink:

Just wanting to know what kind of fuel pump will be need to run a 1.8 16v. I am using one from a 1.4 but i think thats causes loads of black reak out my exhaust. I have looked at the fuel pump and it says 12bar, could that be the cause ????

12 bar??? valver pumps are only 3 bar, u sure it isn't 1.2 bar?

Either way you need a valver pump, suprised it even works tbh, whats the performance like?

1.2 Bar Pumps are fine on valver, the early valvers used them.

If valver pumps are rated at 3 bar, surely a 1.2 bar wouldn't be sufficient... if it was why did they bother uprating the newer ones? bloody renault :roll:
