from what i understand its only the cat, downpipe and manifold that are different so the actual back box should be sweet on either

Yes it will fit hanger wise but if you intend to fit it to the standard mid section you will find the sleeve joint fitting slightly loose (about 1mm all round). This will cause issues trying to seal it properly and inevitably it will start blowing. I have tried it and its a bitch to seal, I used 2 clamps and exhaust wrap / paste and couldn't get it to stop blowing.
