Hi guys,
Just wondering if there is anyway of telling which plug goes to which injector? or if it matters?

Cheers
Amir

don,t think it matters as they all fuel the same.

shudnt matter really, but the loom is normally 'bent' a particular way. with mine if u let the loom fall into position its obviousl which connects to which

i would of thought it DID matter, as surely only 2 cylinders are injecting fuel at the same time, followed by the other 2 ?

though im not well up on this kind of thing

Any gurus about to help me out?

its a batch fire system not semi sequential (fire in pairs).

ALL injectors fire at the SAME time

Really?! Can't be that economic surely? :?

even in todays cars fully sequential systems revert to batch fire under full throttle and high rpm cruising.

pretty much all race cars full batch fire jobs as its easier to map and some drivers apparently like the slightly soft and fluffy rich feel it gives.

You also have to bear in mind the time scales here, the time I took to type this thousands of injection cycles would have passed.

I just assumed in this day of high tech injector firing that maybe even older cars would've used something vaguely on those lines.

Do the FSI Veedub engines have complex firing then?
