Hi guys,

right, only had my Williams 2 a few weeks. Its going for its major service next week. Am not the best of guys when it comes to the mechanical side of cars

I noticed a problem the other day when i stopped at a junction. The accelerator pedal just seemed to stop working, was non-responsive... i was thinking "shvt" :( i turned the engine off and re-started and it was fine, its done it 3 times in the past 2 days.

is it just the throttle cable or sumthing else?

thanks everyone.

what theres no resisitance to the pedal?

Or does it still open the throttle it just makes some noise and refuses to rev up?

No resistance to the pedal mate. No revs or anything.

Luckily it hasn't done it for a while.

Getting it checked next week though.

check that the cable is routed behind the exhaust heatshield

sounds like the cables snapped or its popped out of the pedal, have a look at the pedal end first if its popped out its easy enough to pop back in assumign the plastics not broken.
