While my car was up on the ramps the otherday for tracking I asked them to source where the rattling sound was coming from. We eventually found out is was the mid-section rubber that was making a noise cos it is perished.
How easy are these to change...they all look pretty worn now...is it just a matter of pulling them off? Did'nt have any in stock at the garage.

i got the ones from Rally design and they are slightly shorter than a normal one, after fitting mine the exhaust had to be adjusted as it was then too high up on the car
i got the black ones
i,ve got the red ones and they seam fine.

Are the rest of the rubbers along the exhaust the same shape as this one?

No thats not how they look at all. thats just a generic picture they have put up for poly x mounts.
They should look 'U' shaped. Just same as standard reno ones but orange (poly-x material), btw I had a set of the poly-x mounts and they all snapped within a week  damn scorpian exhaust.

So is it best to get some standard ones then...or would most motor factors be able to upply them?
had mine on for at least two years and there still good. also stopped my mongoose knocking
go to Kwik Fit if you cant find them in any shops, and ask to buy some of theirs, they will have loads of them
aye any exhaust place should have um, they'll prolly do you a handful for a few quid... or try a local motor factors.
