The valver is stuttering

The past coulpe of days every now and then my car has been stuttering, but only noticed it when i go over 4k with all guns blazing. it stutters quite bad and my rev counter goes ape shit. Up and down all over the shop.

Any ideas folks :D

I had a similar problem and and it was my crank shaft sensory.

How much is a sensor mate? Its doin my head in. I dont understand why the rev counter is goin crazy at the same time though

Go to Nick Hill at Hill power. For £35 he plugs in a laptop that diagnoses faults by comunicating with the ECU.

Thats how i found the problem in the crank shaft sensor. If i hadnt have done that it would have taken hours / days to find the fault.

Gareth Gates must be in the boot, just remove him and it'll stop stuttering.

Also check the smple things, like earth straps and make sure none of the loom has been chafing. On top of the gearbox is quite common and causes all kinds of problems when it rubs through.
