How the bloody hell do you unscrew them? they just spin forever!

I gave up in the end but now the seals gone behind the dot and dripping in the car

So

A: how do you stop them from spinning?

and

B: does anyone have a spare one with a decent seal lol

u have to undo the bolt from the inside whilst holding the outer 'dot' with a pair of mole grips, typically ruining them! blummin renualt

Fooking new that'd be the case - thats why I didn't want to grip them too hard

Oh well surely they can't be TOO expensive!

Yeah, ruined mine too. Mole grips on the outside ripped up the 'dot' and Torx head on the inside rounded. Had to grind them out in the end, so would be interested in where to get replacements too, or I will have to come up with some alternative method of fixing!

Ahhh. Why not just clean your existing ones up? Good cleaning in WD40 before rubbing in some vaseline and refitting.

That was the plan until one teared when removing - if they're too expensive I'll get some spares and like you say grease em up..

Sat in the back of the car today and bloody hell water doesn't half creep in the back the seals are wet through on the inside
