Which of these washers in the pic below is the correct one for the sump? Cheers. Matt

Depends what sump.
The left one is for the early tin ones which is rare.
And the right one is for the aluminium sumps.
So im saying the right one lol.

I got an ally sump,and took the sump plug out yesterday,and it has the copper washer,lol

What are you doing with your oil level sender out matt?

I need to replace mine but it's radiator off job :x

It's not mine m8...was just an picture I had from coops of two washers...just happened to have the sender in it. As it happens mine actually is broken too, so it would be no good to u....the temp does not work, so I bought a new one from Renault the other day....bout £43 I think! :shock: As u said...it's a radiator out job. Gonna do mine next week. U ever need a hand m8 just give me a shout.

:lol: ....When I've changed mine in the past it's been like the right one with the rubber in the middle....so I think i'll stick with that type. :D

I'm going on holiday from next sat (23'nd) till the following sat (30th), so if you wanted to pop over on the Sunday 1st July I will help you do the oil change, fit new senser etc. Up to u mate.

Ive just checked again,and it is the copper one that was fitted to my sump,glad this thread has pointed it out that ive got the wrong one fitted,sorted now :oops:
