Just noticed this on the K-tec website, didn't know they made them for the Mk1 Clio!

Just wondered if anyone on here runs one and what it's like? Had problems with a decat I had on a while back as it killed low down torque, does this happen with a sports cat? Bit pricey, but would be worth it imo if the gains are good, plus don't have to worry come MOT time.... :)

Basically you won't see the gains that a de-cat would give bhp wise, but however it should give more low down grunt as it still restricts airflow slightly.

I like sports cats, but the price of them is the only thing that stops me getting one. So de-cat all the way. I don't know how they (and by "they" I mean companies in general) can get away charging so much for them. Can't be that hard to make? Or can they? :)

The only pro's I can think of are:-

No worries at MOT time
Quieter exhaust (perhaps if people find de-cat's too loud)
Improved performance from std.

The con's:-

Expensive
Not as good power as de-cat

Was tempted myself....but that price is extortionate!
