i just want to know what williams wide track is?

the williams has a wider front track (wheels are further appart) than a valver.

People use williams parts to convert a valver to williams track if u get me.

Williams track is around 15mm extra each side.

are the rear wheels on a willy the same width apart as the front ?
often wondered but never looked :)

No, the front is wider! The back is the same as a valver. Some people use spacers on the back to bring them out to match the front but I dont really know how this effects the handling. (my 2p's worth lol)

Thanks guys! i dont think il bother converting mine then it seems alot of hassle! does it really make a huge difference?

so they say. mines even wider though so i can,t tell you. but it must make a little otherwise renault wouldn,t have bothered.

it makes a big difference for parking, my valver wouldnt get out of summys parking space at his old flat, but the williams was easy to get out due to the extra lock you got! i cant say for racing :D
