track control arm into rack

hi i've got willy track control arms to put onto my valver rack i've managed to get them off but does anyone know where i can get them washers from that lock in as they snap when you back the arms off?is it a renault job or a steering rack place? cheers matty

how did you get them out the rack? need to do this to mine ...

why does this need to be done, is it cuz winding out the valver ones leaves only a little bit of thread?

You should have got new washers with the control arms mate.

If not you can rebend the tabs on the original ones and reuse them ?

the control arms are second hand the one washer snapped as i undone it,cause i wondered if they where a one use only washer

how did you get them out the rack? need to do this to mine ...

hi jay my steering rack is off the car so i just slid the gaiter back put the steering rack in the vice and undone the silver part on the control arm,there quite tight though
