I have only just found out about this extra bracket on the williams.

I already have a r19 engine mount.

Do you think it is worth getting hold of?

I have one on my willy gearbox with the R19 mount.

IIRC it needs slight modification to fit in conjunction with the R19 mount, i think it just helps keep the top gearbox mount steady by the looks of things?

If you can pick one up cheap and if you have the engine out it's probably worth putting on!

What is the nature of the modification? Is it difficult or can a numpty like me do it!

What i had to do is just hack off the part of the bracket that bolts on where the R19 mount bolts on.

I can't quite see on the pic of Northys you've posted up whether or not his has been modified, or whether it fits behind his R19 mount, but i'm sure when i looked it wouldn't go behind it as it was too thick.

So, just get a hacksaw and chop the end off that gets in the way of the R19 mount fitting. Job done!
