My engine tends to run in a very "lumpy" way, especially at idle. I have just had it in the garage and they have told me they have identified the fault as the engine pressure sensor, or vacuum sensor which sits in the inlet manifold. This is apparently a very simple part to replace but Renault, i am told, charge £170 for a replacement. Does anyone have any experience with this fault/part? Or a way of getting a cheaper replacement?
The car is a williams 1. if that helps with the identification of a replacement part.
thanks in advance
