Insurance valuations..

As some of you know my car was wrote off last week..

Just got the insurance report back and it goes something like this!

Condition: average/poor

Mileage: High

Final valuation: £1304 WTF :evil:


Just rang the insurance people up to reject this offer and she said ill have to get proof of its true value to me?!

So has anybody got any advice how to prove its value?

I am ideally looking for £1800 give or take a few pounds :cry:

When it was for sale a few months ago somebody offered me £1650 that was before new clutch and brakes!

Search the forums for sale section and autotrader for cars like yours with similar mileage for stupid money.

You have to get 3 or 4 examples and send them into your insurance company.
