Does anyone know the exact difference in length between a Willy shaft and a standard Clio shaft?
I am having a bit of difficulty machining the Willy inner joint to get the clearance needed in the diff and wondered if a standard shaft may do a better job. Ideally I need something between 5-10mm shorter. I assume the actual fitting into the hub is the same size?
Anyone know?
which one do you want measuring? i have 2 valver shafts in my engine conversion box :)

passenger side shaft from outer cv to bearings = 525mm :)

Rich, thanks for that, but it looks like my machining of the Willy shaft has worked out fine and I wont need to buy yet more shafts.
