as title states really, mine looks horrid and needs a good flushing and cleaning through...

anyine give me a quick guide of how to do it, looks a tricky task :)

sure i heard mr muscle works good for cleaning these, never tried it but going to soon as mine is also brown, would imagine coca cola could be good as well.....

my mate put the header tank off his 5 turbo in the dishwasher it came out pretty clean

Put a few spoons ful of washing powder in the header tank then drive around for a few hours flushes the system annd cleans the tank. Then empty system and top up with clean water and anifreeze works a treat honest

never heard of some one doing that before

tried and tested many methods myself
nothing beats a brand new water tank imo :P
