hi all, new to williams clio but not clios in general. this is my valver that ive had for a few months now with the sole intention of making into a B road/track car and mostly for fun. Its a bit rough round the edges but has minimal rust apart from the mandatory rear arches. aparently has a 80k engine and the car is 100 and something, i forget.
Been browsing the site for a good few months, archive of info ;), the car will be hybrid'd eventualy but im in the destructive stage of the build at the moment:

when i bought the car:

more progress.

head and exhaust manifold off and stripping the block, but i took the cam belt off to soon and now cant remove the oil pump pully. nice and black pistons and head....ummmm. bores are in good condition as is the cam lobes and tappets. Took the head off in the wrong sequence too, by going inside out, instead of ouside in if you know what i mean. will have to check the head when i can find my feeler guages and a strait edge. cracked the sump by accident too. Need to slow down as i just get to enthusiastic and break/do stuff wrong, but all good fun:

Nice to see the project moving on so quickly. Will you be keeping the turbines or getting some better wheels?

interested to know, spill the beans, already found a chip on one of the worm gear teeth, so that needs replacing. tryed wraping the old cam belt round it but its so stiff it just jumps round.
