right 2moro, i'm gonna change the spark plugs and fit some new HT leads, a couple quick questions, whats the gap measurement on the spark plugs? and when fitting new HT leads do i need to disconnect the battery or anything? also is it fine jus fitting them, with out doing any other maintence jobs on the car ie. changing oil etc?

The plug gaps are pre-set, you want some NGK BKR6EK's.
Should be safe to swap HT leads with the battery still on, as long as the ignition is off. Depends how lucky you feel! :P

not been funny but us wanna be on the safe side, dya no the measurement? i'm too lucky like, but i'll try it with the battery connected and if i don't post back in a couple of days we'll see what my luck was like :P

gap is 0.80mm plus or minus0.05mm

£140 later,
New dizzy, leads, plugs (engine now runs)
2rear bearings and a set of pads to fit next... GROAN!

nothing complex, takes a few secs to get the dick off, only 2nuts and a bolt.
Just need to know someone with a press to get the old ones out and the new ones in.
