got a k reg 1.8 16v with a knackered clutch.at the mo its been abandoned on a neighbours drive so thinking its gonna need shifting in the next few weeks (its bin there 6 months so taking the piss a bit now!)

just wondering what its worth as a non runner?

bought it for £1300 and drove it for two weeks bofore it broke just never got round to fixing it.standard apart from grooved brakes and its in quite good condition compared t some of the stuff ive seen on here!no real rust spots on the body when i last checked

And also, are you sure its the clutch itself? If it suddenly just stopped working maybe its the cable or somethings popped out. Clutches tend to be a gradual thing with progressive slipping...

milage i think is about 89/90000

no real history,2 stamps in the service book.came with all the original clio handbooks and a couple of receipts.

that was in the two weeks i drove it round, its got lots more dirt on it now lol

ill get some better pics uploaded when it goes up for sale but for now just looking for price ideas,was thinking £400 maybe

definately clutch gone,started to slip pretty badly.did that for 3 days then wouldnt go into 3rd or 5th.....abandoned on neighbours drive!

I'd say £400 is a bit low even with the clutch gone. Just depends on how fast you need to sell! Looks in good condition. I see someone has changed the Phase 1 grill to a unpainted phase 2 grill. Interesting. Does it have many stone chips? You know if its had a cambelt changed at all?

I am no pro on matters such as this...have to wait for a opinions from the almighty wise ones!

never even noticed the grill,im a vauxhall man really but bought this as a bit of a change from novas and corsas (and must say it was miles better!until it broke :lol: )

no idea about the cambelt as no real history

only other prob it had was an annoying squeel on full lock right.was told the belt just needed adjusting?


would really like to keep it and fix it but just cant justify having a car at the mo,got a work van that i drive most of the time
