f7p engine ,idles perfectly fine from the cold start but after
driving 10 minutes of driving ,she is idleing at 1500 ish rpm .

am i right thinking lambda sensor can be the only reason
for this ??

u use 16v clocks and speedo? could be speedo sensor on the speedo cable at clocks end, poor earth on that causes idle issues like this

that does not explain why
its doing it only when hot though :P

btw yes i am using 16v clocks and speedo cable and
the road speed sensor is all wired up nicely
so stalling or dieing at gear changes .

disconnect the 3 pin plug from speedo end and
you will see my friend

will disconnect lambda and see what happens than

was it idling fine before?

A broken lambda usually causes fluctuating idles, and it's usually ok when warm. Disconnecting it will just result in your ECU guessing the mixture.

Have you checked the basic things like ISCV, CTS and disconnecting the cold start injector? Also check for any leaks around the TB and inlet area.

Road speed sensor 100%

Re-earth it. What you got to lose???????

Road speed sensor fault only shows itself after a bit of spirtited driving.

tested it again today ,starts doing it at a temperature
just before the fan kicks in , which i guess is around
80-85 degrees celcius .

as soon as it was idleing at 1500 i parked up
and disconnected the lambda sensor .
no change at all than disconnected the cts
did not make much difference either .

was about to pull the icv plug out ,the damm thing
was well stuck

i am quite tempted to try it again and disconnect the icv
this time .

big hp : road speed sensor is earthed with other stuff
which work perfectly fine , but i will give that a shot too

I find mine idles at 1k after spirited driving, is this a problem?

yes sometimes caused by the sensor on t5he speedo cable.

Sometimes earthing it doesn't stop it and a new cable is the only cure.

Turn engine off and straight back on and it idles fine???? if so classic road speed sensor symptoms.

ECU doesn't hold this fault as i found out when i plugged it into a snap on reader thingy lol, had to drive car to get fault up with snap on reader still plugged in and it flashed up.

sounds quite right .
so would this mean disconnecting the sensor
connector would stop it revving that high as well ???

No would do it all the time as its not creating the loop which is causing the problem so disconnecting would make it worse.

Re-earth again on its own. Failing that buy a new speedo cable from Renault, About £40 IIRC

Its a embarressing fault as people think your doing it on purpose and it makes you look like a typical chav.

well been driving a long one today and finally had
to stop at a few lights too and it never done it .
on the way back however it started doing the same
thing

i will earth it on its own straight to the battery now
and see what happens than .

you sure new cable is 40 ish quid ??
