Yes it does fit...carried it out and it 100% works.. nice money saver...
is this a smaller new type or and old fat type. thought they fouled the 2.0 litres ribs.
do you need the 16v bracket at the back of the starter(bolted to the engine), if so ive just saved myself alot of hassle! nice one! :lol:

ive just used the 3 mounting bolts..works a treat. its a phase 1valver starter:
100% fits
nice one, mine is or should be a ph1 16v starter! :lol: will try it though

what f7r did you fit it on gunner?
i put a phase 1 16v starter on my f7r 700 block.. 8)

cool i put mine on an f7r 710

it didn't fit when I tried to fit it to my 710... was definitely too fat.. This was when the engine was out.
What did you do?

fit it with out the cage.. just 3 bolts 100% fits

yeah just fit it on it's own, and it'll fit/work fine :)
