my aftermarket gauge and sender have arrived :)
now i am going to use one of them
adaptor thingies to fit the sender unit .

the main thing i want to achieve is to position the
sender unit before the thermostat so that the reading is there
regardless of thermostatic operation especially from cold
if that makes sense ??

so in that respect ,am i right thinking that either one
of the heater matrix pipes will do the job as they
exist in the primary water circuit .
i.e : luke warm water circulates there before the stat opens .

Yeah, that sounds about right.

sounds right but bastard aftermaket gauge suppliers
think different and they only supply
adaptors to the size of top rad hoses :x
thew smallest i can get is 28mm diameter
where as i need something like 20mm
to fit this to matrix inlet .

oh well rad top hose it will be than
