anyone had experience with these before ?

--do they last long ??
--whats the accuracy compared to o/e stuff ??

yeah. there fine. never used the type r stuff. but the aftermarket stuff can be better quality than the oe

also where is the best place to fit the sender
for an accurate reading ?

can,t you use the renault sender. if not then in the head before the thermostat.

as far as i know sender must match the gauge mate !!!

plus i would like to keep the renault one just in case
i figure out how to make it work one day .

no harm with 2 temp gauges now is there :D
