How difficult would a kit such as this be to fit? whats involved? and loom chopping/soldering etc and is it all likely to be straight forward, i know it says full english fitting instructions included but how often is it still gobdle-d-gook?!

cheers

shouldn't take more than 20 mins per side mate, just plug and play really.

Ps that kit can be had even cheaper than that on ebay!

edit: didn't realise they were hi/low that's sweet then!

The problem some MOT testers have with them is the beam scatter as your units aren't designed for HID, but they are only the really arsey ones.. Also with them being Bosch i've heard nothing but good things anyway.

**** me!

Thats hurting my eyes looking at the picture!

Funnily enough I was two cars in front of a new golf tonight and that had some lamp upgrade.

It was so fooking bright it was unreal. They were pure pure blue. Definatelty an upgraded HID kit. Looked absolutely mint. I couldnt help but keep looking in my wing mirrors. They were so bloody bright though Im sure they would draw attention from the cops.

I need some of these after seeing these tonight!

Yeah I think some cops dont like them.

Its only easy to tell if they are too bright and not a controlled light. Think some older cars with them fitted have this problem.

Am sure whatcar or something did a video about them being illegal.

I have them on my A4 though and are fine as you can get xenons as an option.

Yes I remember someone on here saying when I last queried;

That older car lenses arent really designed for the HID conversion whereas the newer cars are.

In a nutshell the clio 16v isnt designed for those lights, but **** it! Im definately still getting some when funds allow!
