Anyone know where I can get a starter motor for a Williams. I have looked on GSF Parts and they stock them for a 1.8 16v but not a williams and I know they fit different. Anywhere cheaper than Renault?

Cheers, Steve.

theres nine teeth and ten teeth. use can use a ten tooth if your is ten teeth or a nine. but you cant use a nine if yours was a ten as it jams.

When we put the willy lump in we had to swap the starter over as the valver one wouldn't fit?? So was that to do with the amount of teeth? I know they are similarly priced everywhere but I spoke to Stromba a while back and he mentioned that he knew a place to get them a fair bit cheaper.... may have to get in touch with him then and ask.
