Has anyone ever done one? i know there was a supercharged dima kitted 16valve but wondered if anyone had ever done this conversion to a williams?

I'm keen to find out who can carry out the job, cost, performance details, drivability info anything really.

I'm looking to do something a little different to my Williams but seem to be struggling in getting any info....anyone got experience of turbo'd/supercharged williams?

i would be interested in doing it as would be a weapon on track but really need to figure out how to fit an intercooler or chargecooler into the equation. realisticaly the chargecooler has got to sit where the inlet manifold is (then no room for intercooler and an inlet manifold) or where the pas pickup is but then its between the rad and block and will get a bit toasty

plus 208 bhp is less than the turbo low boost option. plus no charge cooling is going to affect the power out put and reliability.

but the low boost turbo still runs more than 0.35bar ? also supercharger would be better through the gears as zero lag.

would only be worth while though if you could fit a chargecooler/intercooler as well.

looks like the italian one uses the cooper s supercharger where the outlet is on the underside of the supercharger so you can only really run it direct to the head, no chance of using any intercooling.

i recon maybe a merc supercharger would be better where the outlet is on the end so you could run it to a chargecooler like this

above the gearbox (remove battery) then to an inlet plenum similar to the 172 one where it sits ontop of the engine.

sorry just seen that all the eaton superchargers outlet is on the underside. could still position it in the same place as the italian one but the other way round so the outlet is facing the front of the car, would then need to fabricate some sort of elbow to come off the outlet, over to the chargecooler then back to the inlet plenum ontop of the engine

Looks cool apart from those bonnet scopes. Wonder how long it is until it blows up?
