I have just changed an engine in a clio rsi and when I try to start the car, it trys to start but seems like the immobiliser keeps cutting it out. I have tried locking and unlocking the car a few times but it still wont start, any ideas what it could be?
Is the fuel pump priming?

yes, everything seems to be working fine and then it cuts dead just like it does when the immobiliser is on.

you need a phase 1 rsi ecu..

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
you need a phase 1 ecu because they dont have the built immobilser.
