Hi guys well sold me Clio and now have a new toy a BMW 525 Sport
192 BHP ...

With full Leather Recaro's and m5 Badging and wheels 8)

leave the m5 badge but get rid of the motorsport one imo, BMW's rule

Yer the motorsport badge has been removed they were on when i bought
it . I literary pulled the car in from buying and took the pics . Even though
its got 192BHP its only 9.5 seconds 0/60 probably down to it weighing
around 2 tonne lol ... also automaticBut mid range is unreal at 70 MPH
if you floor itit just takes off and is at 100+ in no time , couldnt believe it.


80 MPH comes in at 2500 RPM which is cool as is the valver 80 MPH was at
4000 RPM ! Im made up with it and the insurance is only £25 more than
the valver at £255 fully comp so isnt to bad ..

Now the bad bit Fuel :roll: Its ok on the motorway as 70 MPH its showing
35 MPG which is understandable as 70 MPH is only 2000 RPM but around
town .. jeez , just driving around locally it get 50 miles to £10 and thats
if im taking it easy , Basically the same as the 300zx i had a few years
ago and they are poo on the fuel ..

So i'll see how it goes its got starship mileage , but is lovely and smooth.
Im going to give it a service as the oil is a bit black and smelly so i'll
change that and the K&N cone filter looks like its done 2 Million miles !
So thats getting whipped off aswell .

So dont know what my plans are really theres no rust what so ever so
bodyworks ok , Ive got a performance chip on order and a new airfilter,
I also rang BMW about decating the exhaust it but they said the Cats are
none restrictive cats so a decat wouldnt make any difference :? which
i thought was strange ...


Anyway apart from the fuel its not to bad :D

Sometimes i feel like switching to a more motorway friendly car as i have to do 32 mile round trip and the clio pecks my head, looks very luxurious and fully loaded that, think i'd go for a golf vr6 as i prefer hatches, i was in my brothers (vento vr6) the other day and his was at 2500rpm at 80mph also, would be bliss!

Get a manual box in there mate. Will make it feel much better :)
