Hi, i took the wheel off passenger side yesterday and noticed oil all over the inside of the arch, basically everywhere your wheel sits in.

There was no other oil anywhere near, just in the arch! A tiny bit under the box but nothing major.

I noticed a tiny crack in the CV boot and if you squeezed it a bit of oil came out.

Question is can a tiny crack cover your inner arches with oil? It was allover the tread of my tyre too, but none was on the wishbone or shocks for example??

No I didn't drive through an oil field

it's too late mate, the amount of oil in the arches must have been everything the CV had to offer LOL.

Got two new shafts off winston anyway :D

inject cv grease in through hole and patch up with a puncture repair kit

is it normal for it to knock tracking out when changing shafts?

Steering feels vague now and it's very eager to pull left!

Just been to garage and my tracking was off the scale, they said replacing a driveshaft wont do that, so they want it on the ramp
