Aux dials

The middle dial decided to get stuck yesterday - a quick tap got it back down but its bugging me - whats usually the cause? the perspex touching the needle? or do the needles fall off?

Rather fix this one than get new dials as these are good uns.. They have a Daz seal of approval (which incedentely I think they're should be a smilie for) :lol:
