rev counter

i need a new 1 as mine is tempremental. i posted this a while ago and some1 said i can just change the back of the dial ie the plug that goes into the rev counter. i know someone with a willy rev counter with the face missing will this be enough to replace mine??a pic of the back would be nice if any1 has 1

i want a new one too! my rev counter works for about 2minutes each morning then dies!

Has anyone got a soloution because this must be a common renault fault??

^just seen on ebay a rev counter speedo etc - can i basturdise anything off the rev counter to fix mine????

mat u got a pic of the back of them is it just something that unclips and clips in mine???can i use a 16v one?

Yes u can use a 16v one, all u need to do is take the full dials out of the dash, unscrew the back and pull out the rev counter, pull off the needle (remember where it sits) very gently peel off the blue face to reveal 2/3 very small screws, undo these screws and the back peice will disconnect (This is the faulty bit) it will just leave u with a plastic dial. Screw the new one back on and fit everything back together, really easy job...the only pisser that Daz mentioned was disconnecting the speedo cable in the dash.

is the blue face just a sticker does it look ok when u peel it off and refit it
