Help, car wont start

went out to start the car this morning and the ****ing thing wont go.
when i turn the key i can hear the fuel pump priming, but that it. Absolutely nothing else happens.

imobiliser appears to be off, little light stops flashing and all that.

any ideas would be greatly apreciated!

erm, ok so it now works again.

went over to where the car was to tow it home with my dad. had a quick try for the sake of it and it didnt start.

tried the lights then tried the engine again and it started fine!

now starts fine as always,
any ideas what this might have been, as im worried it'll happen again

give it a tap with a hammer to start it
probably need a new 1

Could be intermittent bad earth.

Well its not working again today. Good job i've got a van.

I'll check the earths and starter connections tonight
