Can you use them? Not the cup!

I'm putting the car back up to std spec, but the original willy springs have gone missing...

Can you use FF 172 springs. They look very similar!

yeah they have a blue dot or a white dot on them!

They should have two white dots on them for them to be the same.

Fitted the 172 springs today...Feels great!

Is there any difference in ride height,iirc someone said -5mm??

I would like to stiffen my fronts up but cant drop anymore than 20mm

172's are the same height and poundage iirc - its the cup springs that are a tad stiffer/shorter

The car does wander a wee bit, gettin the trackin done tomo...

just fitted one 172 spring to a new shock in readiness to fit, jeez cant remember winding the willy ones in this far, and they dont seem to sit as great on the top and bottom plates, hey ho time will tell when they are fitted to the car i guess, gotta be stiffer thats for sure
