car not starting! help!

hey guys!

basically having a problem whereby my car fires up when i start it but then dies almost instantly..

have no idea why it would do this? (it has been sat for a while)

last time i drove it,, a fair few months ago, it was kangarooing whilst driving and had hunting revs,, which i assume was a lambda problem, which i nevr got round to fixing!

anyone?

the loom is shorting out somewhere..

right, update..

have fittted a new throttle body, lambda sensor and have a secondhnd iscv coming from mat...

now the current situation is , the car needs a bit of throttle to stop it from stalling when it starts up, but after a minute or so of keeping the revs up , it idle's fine!

the car seems to rev cleanly etc..

ISCV problem?

could the fact i have no throttle cable have anything to do with it? as i am awaiting a new one!
