right from the top

i owned a williams 3 for about 3 months then the gearbox failed with the selector coming out so got a recon box fitted at a garage (unnamed) come to find out that it was the wrong one 3 months later wen the clutch smashed to bit because the gearbox was only held in by to bolts so the gearbox was rocking up and down, so 3 months later i took it to renault to have a new recon box, clutch and clutch cable now the gearbox keeps ripping out the 3 bolt on the top mount this is the secound time that this has happened.
o and i do have a problem selecting first some time.

could anybody help with this as its pi**ing me off big time.

no not those ones, the three that are on the top that hold the top mount.

the gearbox mount that bolts to the top of the gearbox should have a bar attached that either bolts down one side or both of the gearbox. this is the both way willy strap.

this helps spread the load from just the top to the gearbox sides.
