View Full Version : Anyone want any Forte @ FCS ?

i was thinkin of gettin a case of Forte Gas Treatment, its usually about £12 a bottle but i should be able to do it for a fiver a bottle, would anyone be interested ?....you can usually pick bottles cheap on Ebay, but i know for certain some are not genuine bottles, and sellers usually charge £2.50+ for postage so it would still be cheaper

its usually a trade only product and as such, im sure its a lot more powerful than your normal petrol additive, ive used it on the valver and on the GTT engine before that, and its the only petrol treatment i now use, nothin else has any affect, this seems to

Spec

Improve engine performance and driveability
Reduce noxious exhaust emissions
Improve cold starting
Prevent fuel system corrosion and control fuel oxidation
Provide injector and upper cylinder lubrication
Remove lacquer, varnish, acid and soot deposits

before i do order a case though, does anyone want some...

its ideal to use before your MOT, or if you have been usin crappy supermarket petrol, or if your motor has done loads of mileage, which most of us have

Is it an octane booster, or just a petrol additive?

as far as i know it isnt an octane boost

its a bit weird really, as it does quite a lot, not just clean

its just a petrol addative, i use it in clio, get it from work, seems to be ok, cant say noticed any difference like

shit - my car is puffing like a bastard now after using this, think its cuz its cleaned the valve seats and a bit more oil is dropping down. hmmm :/

yeah we poped a bottle in it and now all the crap is comming out the back, so i guess its doing its job and cleaning it all out

I've put mine in and driven around 200 miles and it doesn't seem to have made any difference but someone said it will do after it has all been run through and you fill up for the second time!

i found mine didnt run right once but when i topped the tank back up to full it was fine
