I have to remove the gearbox of my 1.8 engine, the engine and box are sat in my garage so have already been took out of the car.

Is it easy to remove the box?

Is it a case of undoing all the bolts and it comes apart?

Any tips??

Use a flat headed screwdriver to tap it off initially, then just wiggle it off.

Dont let it hang when you start pulling it off, make sure you support the weight. You will be able to lift it yourself its not that heavy.

Use a flat headed screwdriver and a hammer to tap it off initially, then just wiggle it off.
