Wondering if anyone has any advice,

on the new 205 gti when i first start it from cold it idles low and tries to cut out, sometimes will, so i keep the revs up for 20 seconds and its ok, revs about 2k.

When cold also it will want to stall when you pull up to junctions etc, however when it warms up, its absolutely fine, no real problems.

Was thinking of trying a injector flush, putting some stuff in the petrol basically, any good? Done it once before on the valver, seemed ok!

If not was also going to have a look at the plugs, leads dizzy etc and try cleaning the throttle body and associated pipes?

Anything else worth a try or people recommend?

Fuel filter is another option!

Thanks

Danny

the Gti pugs are a bitch for idling - some bloke near me "fixed" mine by idling it at 1300rpm.

Yeah, thanks... :?

I'm sure there's a good fix for this - have a trawl of t'internet, or even perhaps the Fast Car mag as I'm sure that some bloke on there fixed his.

clean all the breathers and sad valve (under dizzy) out and have the tps and afm set up properly.

really common on 205's have a browse over on www.205gtidrivers.com

try sbc in cheshire for a proper set up do a top job for around £100.
