damn it, just had a clutch cable snap on tues, picked it up today and the mechanic said the clutch was heavy/not that good. on way home it went totally, no gears nothing! grrrrr!!

so ive paid 75£ for that cable and now i have a broken car still.

anyone know how much a clutch replacment is ??? is mr clutch any good/competitive price??

Did he actually route it correctly and use a genuine renault part?

Oh, and Mr Clutch cost me like £130 for a clutch cable and fitting iirc :?

car was fine for approx 3miles then got harder and harder to select a gear then finally wouldnt go at all.

Might be a similar problem to that. As my problem started with the clutch cable snapping. Replaced it, then had all sorts of problems. Problem got very bad once the car got warm too.

Have a read, see if there's anything familiar there.
