this is the one he was thinking of getting

To me they seem too cheap to work?

They are cheap because the seller will have gotten a 'superchip' and the hardware/software needed to copy that onto other chips and hey presto - they can manufacture their own superchips. They will do the job, but not as good as a custom remap obviously.

Personally i'd be getting the one from the second link, seller seems to know what they're on about.
