Wonder why they kept the standard rear shock mounts they're in a rubbish position would be lots better turreted and vertical.

The shockers dont do much at all on clios I they rotate on the bushes more than move in and out, especially when they're lowered.

Clowo16v ~~ For your benefit and others, the FIA ~~ World governing body of motorsport ~~ decided in their infinite wisdom   ~~ after the banning of the Gp B "supercars"  ~~ To reduce costs and speed, that cars had to have homologation papers ~~ a set of instructions,as to what you can/cannot do ~~ One of the rules " Suspension can be free   ~~ BUT the type and operation plus the locations (pick up points)may not be altered.ie you fit,"PROFLEX" remote cannister rear schockers   ,but they have to bolt,to the normal pickup.
In my level of club rallying this does not affect me ~~ not yet anyhow.  As for the Mk1 Clios ~~ the homologation has run out now anyway.
Neil Simpson, was excluded from 3rd place on the Scottish, for fitting a non homolgated front disc on his EVO ~~ same size etc etc etc ~~ but not homologated.
At the top level ~~ they check everything ~~ latest is checking Fuel ~~ to ensure it is 102 octane max ~~ The guys running the ex~world cars struggle if they get caught ~~ they lose loads of power plus a lot of expensive software to make the engine run ok
The fuel they use is about £3:75 a litre
